Welcome to Busselton Guest House / Bed and Breakfast, commonly known as ‘Beds by the Bay.’ This fully renovated, old style guest house provides an old style welcome and friendly service.
Situated just one kilometre from Busselton’s bustling town centre and two streets from magical Geographe Bay, there is plenty to experience. Stroll along the beautiful, pristine beaches of the bay to the town’s historic jetty and enjoy a cappuccino at a café overlooking the water. Return to ‘Beds by the Bay’ and relax in the warm, inviting spa set amongst the lovingly tended gardens.
About Us
The Busselton Guest House is one of the oldest Bed and Breakfast establishments in the Busselton area. The buildings were relocated from the decommisioned World War II communications base in the mid 50s and set up as a Lodging House. It has now been continuously registered for well over 50 years.
Fully renovated over the past three years, this homely character residence is set on two thousand square metres of beachside land with outstanding outdoor entertaining facilities. Features include over 100 square metres of alfresco area and a separate, covered, five person luxurious spa. Spacious lawn areas, shady peppermint trees and well tended gardens are in abundance.
The Busselton Guest House is run by Micheal Jones and his partner, Beth Herbert. It reflects Mike’s passions – meeting people, discovering beauty within old things, gardening, good food and a relaxed lifestyle. You will be in good hands at ‘Beds by the Bay’.
Facilities
It is our aim to provide excellent service in a great venue, including a large lounge area with tv and 220 cm projector screen and a separate games room featuring a pool table, dart board, tv, lounge and two separate reading nooks. Of course, a supply of reading material is available and we can also provide (by appointment) access to the lady of the house’s private library...
We have 5 rooms available; one deluxe room, three standard rooms and one twin room. All the rooms have ensuites and include towels, linen, air conditioning, heating, a fan, electric blanket, wardrobe, dressing table and hair dryer.
Our rates include your choice of breakfast: continental (fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast), light (croissants with a variety of fillings) or hearty (bacon, egg, sausage, mushroom, tomato, baked beans and hash brown).
Tea and coffee facilities are provided all day.
Fridge and microwave are available in the guests’ dining room as well as a guests’ washing machine and dryer in the laundry.
Other services include pick up and delivery in a gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet; organising of tours down south and restaurant bookings.
