Although just off the main road of Heathcote, you can enjoy the peaceful garden and the splendor of seasonal flowers and plants while the animals keep you company. There is no better spot in Heathcote to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine.

Park your faithful vehicle with the utmost peace of mind. With the longest main street in the Southern Hemisphere, Heathcote has lots of parking. In addition, Emeu Inn has ample secure off-street parking behind Emeu Inn that we make available to all our guests.

Pet-friendly accommodation

Emeu Inn has so many great offerings, why shouldn’t the pets come too? Our Heidi Suite and the Cottage are pet-friendly. Your pets can even recline and sleep inside! Our dogs love meeting your pets, as do most guests but we understand that faithful four legged friends cause allergies for some. For that reason, five of our seven suites do not and have never permitted animals. So guests can admire our beloved four legged guests from afar and in perfect comfort.

You'll find open fires in the Shiraz Suite as well as the Restaurant. In the lounge between the Elly and Sage Suites, there's also an open fire. All suites except Charlett have large double spas.

About Us

The Busselton Guest House is one of the oldest Bed and Breakfast establishments in the Busselton area. The buildings were relocated from the decommisioned World War II communications base in the mid 50s and set up as a Lodging House. It has now been continuously registered for well over 50 years.

Fully renovated over the past three years, this homely character residence is set on two thousand square metres of beachside land with outstanding outdoor entertaining facilities. Features include over 100 square metres of alfresco area and a separate, covered, five person luxurious spa. Spacious lawn areas, shady peppermint trees and well tended gardens are in abundance.

The Busselton Guest House is run by Micheal Jones and his partner, Beth Herbert. It reflects Mikeâs passions â meeting people, discovering beauty within old things, gardening, good food and a relaxed lifestyle. You will be in good hands at âBeds by the Bayâ.

Facilities

It is our aim to provide excellent service in a great venue, including a large lounge area with tv and 220 cm projector screen and a separate games room featuring a pool table, dart board, tv, lounge and two separate reading nooks. Of course, a supply of reading material is available and we can also provide (by appointment) access to the lady of the houseâs private library...

We have 5 rooms available; one deluxe room, three standard rooms and one twin room. All the rooms have ensuites and include towels, linen, air conditioning, heating, a fan, electric blanket, wardrobe, dressing table and hair dryer.

Our rates include your choice of breakfast: continental (fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast), light (croissants with a variety of fillings) or hearty (bacon, egg, sausage, mushroom, tomato, baked beans and hash brown).

Tea and coffee facilities are provided all day.

Fridge and microwave are available in the guestsâ dining room as well as a guestsâ washing machine and dryer in the laundry.

Other services include pick up and delivery in a gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet; organising of tours down south and restaurant bookings.

Phoenix Apartments is located at 60 Mountjoy Parade in central Lorne, with all shops, restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance. Off-street parking spaces are provided at the rear of the apartments and are accessible via Argyle Lane.

Travel time to Phoenix apartments via the Great Ocean Road by car is approximately 1.5 hours from Melbourne if you follow the Princes Highway (M1) from Melbourne to Geelong, then take the Great Ocean Road (B100) through Torquay to Lorne. OR follow the Princes Highway (M1) from Melbourne to Geelong to Winchelsea (A1). Then take C151 via Deans Marsh to Lorne.

If you prefer to catch public transport the V- Line bus from Geelong stops outside the Phoenix apartment entrance. V-line train/coach services depart daily from Melbourne to Geelong and along the Great Ocean Road to Lorne and Apollo Bay. Mill Lodge is a spacious four bedroom house on the banks of Cedar Creek. Features include a large wood fireplace. Bedroom one and two feature two queens sized beds in each. The third bedroom has a double bed with as single bunk above, and the fourth bedroom has two single bunk beds. The comfortable lounge room has a TV, DVD and CD player. There is small TV in the main bedroom. The main areas have polished floor and the bedrooms are carpeted. There is and an 11 piece outdoor setting and barbecue. Bush Lodges $199 per night (two night minimum) $750 weekly rate (seven nights)

Directions

From Brisbane take Motorway 1 (the Pacific Highway) south. Drive 38 kilometres to the second Beenleigh exit. Follow the Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road to Tamborine Village (24km). Take the Tamborine Mountain Road to the east. Travel eight kilometres to the Thunderbird Park complex at Cedar Creek Falls Road in the Tamborine Plateau foothills. Look for the large sign post on the left. The road is bitumen-sealed for the entire distance.

From the Gold Coast take Motorway 1 exit 57 and follow the road to Mount Tamborine. Turn right at the Gallery Walk roundabout and right again at the next roundabout leading to Eagles Height Road. Turn right at the T-junction sign posted Geissman Drive and travel down the road to the junction of Tamborine Mountain Road and Cedar Creek Falls Road. Look for the large signs on the right.

The Area

It is hard to believe this magical getaway is just over two hours drive from Sydney and one and a half hours from Canberra, with the city of Goulburn within a 40-minute drive. Longview Farm Cottage is located in Big Hill within the diverse Mulwaree Shire - an area that is characterised by spectacular river gorges, deep cave country and rolling green pastures. Mulwaree features rambling homesteads, convict history and country hospitality.

Marulan - Gateway to the Southern Tablelands, this once sleepy village is now experiencing a huge growth spurt. Marulan surrounds are rugged - from the spectacular Gibraltar Rocks to the lookouts near Tallong and sensational picnic sites overlooking the Shoalhaven that will take your breath away. The area is popular for abseiling, rock climbing and canyoning - and for just soaking up the views.

Bungonia and Gorge Country - Bungonia village was first settled in the 1820s by ex-convicts and ticket-of-leave men. This history is reflected in St Michael's Catholic Church - one of the oldest in Australia. Many buildings of historical significance still stand proud in the streets of Bungonia. The local community is very close and friendly - enjoy market day or a town event with them.

Bungonia State Recreation Area, embracing the Shoalhaven Gorges, offers adventure and adrenalin. Try abseiling down waterfalls and climbing through canyons, or remote bushwalks and stunning vistas.

Road safety
Local gravel roads are graded regularly and are suitable for two-wheel drive vehicles.

Remember these are country roads and you'll need to be aware of livestock and of bush animals such as kangaroos, wombats and rabbits - particularly at dusk when they are most active.

If there are any gates closed on the road, you can just open them and drive through, but please remember to shut them behind you.

Driving from Sydney
Longview Farm Cottage is around a two-hour drive from most parts of Sydney. Driving through the Southern Highlands to the turn-off at Marulan, there are many attractions to visit along the way.

Take the M5 Motorway South, towards Canberra.
Continue on the Motorway past Mittagong and Bundanoon/Exeter. (The Motorway will officially end and become the Hume Highway.)
Turn left off the Highway at the Marulan exit (at the truck weigh station).
At the first crossroads, continue straight over the main road onto Brayton Road. There will be an Ampol service station on your left.
At the next crossroads, turn right, continuing onto Brayton Road.
Continue on this road without turning for 16.5 kms, where you'll see the Big Hill Fire Shed on your left.
Approximately one kilometre past the fire shed the road will become unsealed gravel. Follow the road without turning for approximately 9 kms to Mount Hannibal Station.
Follow the signs for Longview Farm Cottage until you reach Longview Road, approximately 3.5 kms.
Turn left onto Longview Road. The cottage is 2 kms on your left.

Driving from Canberra
From Canberra, you can drive to Longview Farm Cottage in just over one-and-a-half hours.

Head north out of Canberra along the Federal Highway towards Goulburn.
Continue north towards the Hume Highway. Once on the Hume Highway, take the first Marulan exit (15 mins from Goulburn).
Continue down Marulan's main street (George Street) until you come to Brayton Rd (There will be an Ampol station and small supermarket at the corner on your left, and the turn-off to Sydney on your right). Turn left here.
Turn right at the next cross-roads, continuing onto Brayton Rd.
Continue on this road without turning for 16.5 kms, where you'll see the Big Hill Fire Shed on your left.

Relax and lay back on the Queensized bed in the main bedroom which opens up onto your own private balcony where you can lay in bed and gazing at the famous bridge, watch the city lights and see the magnificent New Years Fireworks. Or pop the cork from that chilled bottle of wine & sit on the balcony at the table for two.

Get away from the rest of the household in the seclusion of bedroom 2 downstairs and soak in the quiet stillness.

Paddington Hills Rural Retreat

One hour from Canberra,a hundred from the daily grind.

Paddington Hills has two lavishly renovated train carriages, "art Deco " style, set on 120 acres of farmland overlooking the pretty village of Bredbo.

Both carriages have reverse cycle air conditioning making them very comfortable in any weather.

Our family carriage has a room with two sets of double bunks, a main room with a queen bed and a lounge which folds down to make a double bed. There is an eating nook with fridge, micro wave kettle, and toaster. The bathroom has a deep claw foot bath with shower over while the adjacent toilet has a steering wheel for the children to "drive" the train.

The couples carriage has a cozy bedroom with a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with spa. The main part of this carriage is taken up with a living room complete with extending dining table and a fold down lounge making a double bed. There is a single bed at the other end of the carriage and a fully equipped kitchen next to it.

All beds have electric blankets.

A selection of teas and coffees are available and our continental breakfasts are generous with fresh fruit, orange juice,and cereals. You can nominate what type of bread you want for toast. All you have to do is put it together whenever you like.

Mobile phones work here too.

Bimblegumbie is an Aboriginal word and was found in an Aboriginal dictionary in the Cooma Library. It is known as 'Spear Whistle'. Some think that a Bimblegumbie is the name of a spear that whistles as it is thrown through the air, others think that Bimblegumbie is the name of the sound/whistle the spear makes as it is flying through the air.... if you happen to know what it really is drop us a line.

The approach to the seclusion of Arcadia is through green, temperate rainforest. The cottages are surrounded by rambling gardens with 100 year old oaks, southern beeches and cathedral high mountain ash. In winter the camellias bloom in pink, red and white, in spring rhododendrons flower in their hundreds. Wild ducks paddle on Arcadia's ornamental ponds. Beyond the gardens, distance gives the ranges a watercolour wash of blue. The feeling at Arcadia is relaxing and enchanting.

Blue Gum House is a fully self contained house, situated in Blackheath within walking distance to the most spectacular scenery, swimming pool, golf course and restaurants.

With solar passive design, the house is cool during the summer and warm during the winter. From the living area look out onto the bush reserve. It offers 3 bedrooms, each with built in wardrobe. Linen is provided. All beds with doonas. It has 1 bathroom with a spa and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher.

There is an extra toilet and shower with laundry facilities.

The dining setting is for 6 persons, and fire wood is supplied for the slow combustion heater. There is also additional electrical heating available.

There is a 37 inch LCD TV, pay TV, a VCR and plenty of books, videos, CDs and games.

Guests comments:

1-We had a wonderful time at Blue Gum House. The house was lovely, very cosy and much bigger than we expected. The kids really enjoyed themselves and made themselves feel right at home. They loved the upstairs area and they made it as a no adult zone. Mum and dad were thankful for the peace and quiet of the main bedroom and my sister and I thought we were big kids again sleeping in the bunk beds.

2-I must say I have a great time with my family staying at Blue Gum House. What a beautiful cottage and arrangement suits the family needs. It has great scenery next to the national park and very close to the stunning view of Govett's Leap and Evan's Look Out. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. I wished I had stayed there longer. I would certainly recommend to my friends and make a second trip back next year.

3-We loved staying at Blue Gum House. You have done it up wonderfully to create a lovely, relaxed retreat. Everything was so clean and fresh! And the bed were so comfortable and immaculately clean too. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We hope we can come again soon.

Blue Gum House is situated within walking distance to Govett's Leap Look Out where there is the start to some wonderful walks in the Blue Mountains. There are as well very special paths accessible to push chairs and wheel chairs. The Blue Mountains can be enjoyed by everyone.

Blue Gum House is situated close to Blackheath village where you can find everything: groceries, bakeries, vegetables, delicatessen, newsagency and bottle shops; an interesting antique shop, a few art galleries; pubs with open fire places, great during the winter, restaurants, cafes and a lot more... This wonderful park where there is an open-air swimming pool, wonderful during the summer; an excellent children's play ground and a pond with many ducks... In the park, you can have romantic picnic.

Blackheath is still tucked away from tourists, you can enjoy a very secluded Mountains life. It is so peaceful and restful. You will enjoy Blue Gum House and Blackheath whether you come to stay a weekend or longer, there is so much to do.

When arriving in Blackheath, turn into Govetts Leap road (towards Govetts Leap falls), drive few minutes down the road, turn left into Clarence Street and then, turn into the second street on the right is Mountbatten Street, your destination.

However, you may find that you only get as far as the verandah which is surrounded by tall lush green rainforest with giant palms, draping vines and iridescent bloomsâ¦You may decide to take a swim in the deep crystal clear waters of Little Cooper Creek which flows right in front of the deck. Teeming with wild jungle perch and having fresh mountain drinking waterâ¦ `Halwynâ has one of the most beautiful private swimming holes in the rainforest!

Halwyn is fully furnished with three bedrooms (2 Queen Beds & 2 Singles Beds), 2 bathrooms, open plan living/kitchen area and with a large scenic verandah. Your linen is provided along with tea, coffee, condiments and a fully equipped kitchen.

Getting There

By Road: To get here from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway North from Cairns which is the only main highway. Follow the signs to Mossman - it's a direct drive. Once in Mossman, drive through the town and you will see a road veering to the left which says " Daintree Township/ Daintree River Ferry". Veer left and follow the road for approximately 25km. At this point you will take a right turn at the sign "Daintree River Ferry/ Cape Tribulation". Follow this road to the ferry and cross the river by ferry. Once across the ferry, turn off at Turpentine Road which is on the left about 20km over the ferry. You will pass Heritage Lodge which is on your right. You will then come to Stonewood Road which veers to the left and right. Take the road to your left and follow it right to the end. There is a large "Daintree Secrets" sign which marks the entrance to our property. The drive is approximately 2 hours in total and is all on well signed, good quality sealed roads.

‘Halwyn’ is situated in the perfect position for exploring the Daintree Rainforest and the Outer Barrier Reef. Not only will you be enthralled by the diversity of flora and fauna on the property but there are many sealed roads to interesting walks and trails through the nearby National Parks (free admittance) and privately owned local properties. Many of these properties offer guided rainforest walks for a small fee (this is highly recommended). All attractions are less than 25 mins away.

WALKING & BEACHES	ALEXANDRA FALLS - Is a must see for all guests. The entrance is located approximately 10 minutes from Daintree Secrets by foot and is a spectacular 2 hour walk through rock pools and Tropical Rainforest where you will be mesmerised by a 150 metre cascading waterfall. COCONUT BEACH - 2KM South of Cape Tribulation (Accessible through the resort or from further south where the road touches the beach. There is a large Fringing Reef with a steep drop off, which provides excellent fishing). CAPE TRIBULATION BEACH - 1KM North (Toilets and Picnic Tables. Very shallow and sheltered from the winds. Ideal for children. Dive boats depart from here at 8.30am. You can walk to the look-out or north to the Beach House, and hire a canoe. On reefs north of the Beach House there is still some live coral on the edge of the fringing reef. EMMAGEN BEACH - 8KM to the north (Easily accessible by walking, driving or even cycling with very few people - a stunning "beach paradise". On low tide you can walk back along the beach to Cape Tribulation. The turn off is situated at a Strangler Fig just before Emmagen Creek. DONOVANS BEACH - 12KM to the north (For the intrepid explorer - you need a 4WD or a mountain bike. Another 4 km north from Emmagen. There is a slight track from the road into the beach following the creek for about 200 metres. Locals have seen crocodile tracks on this beach. Wild and deserted) NOAHS BEACH - 2KM South of Cape Tribulation (At the National Park camping ground which is an ideal beach. You can walk from here down to the mouth of Oliver Creek which will have campers using it).

About Daintree Magic Holiday House

DAINTREE MAGIC is a luxury holiday house in a secluded rainforest environment with breath taking ocean views, making it the perfect DAINTREE ACCOMMODATION. Daintree magic is a timber cottage, set high up into the tree tops to maximise the rainforest atmosphere and fresh sea breezes. Being the closest accommodation to the beach the sweeping ocean views set the scene for a relaxing escape in a tropical self contained holiday house.

Daintree Magic has a fully equipt kitchen, with full size fridge and freezer and gas top oven. The kitchen opens out on the inside to join up with the dining room and opens up on the outside to join up to the front veranda. This open living plan gives all the rooms stunning ocean views and beautiful sea breezes as well as providing the ultimate atmosphere for entertainment.

There are two main bedrooms with king and queen beds with two additional sofa beds in the TV entertainment room. The front main bedroom opens up to the living room and onto the front veranda, so you can lie in bed and gaze at the ocean views or at night enjoy the warm glow of the indoor fire. The second bedroom also has ocean views from the windows and is opposite the entertainment room which has two double sofa beds.

The entertainment room also has Austar TV, DVD player and a good range of games and books, beanbags and some toys.

The rear veranda backs onto the lush Daintree Rainforest with a large gas BBQ, and a small laundry. The bathroom adjoins the rear veranda and boasts some of the rainforest's best timbers in the bench top and mirror. The front veranda is where you will probably spend most of your time. In addition to a second outdoor dining table, it has a hammock and a spa bath. How To Get To Daintree Magic Holiday House

This ideal DAINTREE ACCOMMODATION is located south of Cape Tribulation, at Cow Bay Beach. Just one hour north of Port Douglas or two hours north of Cairns. Drive north along the Captain Cook Highway, passing through the township of Mossman.

The Mossman Gorge is a great spot for a swim to break up the drive. Head north until you see the signpost for Daintree Ferry, turn right and cross the Daintree River Ferry, keeping your eyes peeled for Crocodiles and Bird life. Continue your drive north, and climb the Alexandra Range to the top where you can stop at the Alexandra Lookout for a magnificent view over the Daintree River Mouth and Snapper Island.

Only about 15 minutes to go now, so head down the other side of the range, taking your time to enjoy the rainforest and little waterfalls along the way. Just after you pass the Cow Bay Pub, turn right down Buchanan Creek Rd towards Cow Bay Beach. Follow this road almost to the end, approximately 3.5 kms, and turn right up Penda Close, which is only 50 metres from the beach car park.

Drive slowly up Penda Close, as local Cassowaries and their chicks are often sighted along this road. Drive to the end and DAINTREE MAGIC is the last driveway on the right and clearly marked with a sign.

Relax and Unwind. The Moo Bay Muse is built amongst the splendour of the Daintree rainforest close to beautiful Cow Bay beach, with world heritage listed National Park at the rear of the property.

Escape to a different way of life with solar generated power, rain fed water supply and an open plan design that lets you enjoy forest and garden views from every room.

Explore the forest and semi-permanent creek via a path from the rear of the cottage.

This one bedroom cottage also has an upstairs loft accessible by ladder, sleeping a maximum of 4 adults. The main bedroom has a king size bed, small balcony and garden views. The loft can be made up either with a king bed or 2 singles and has an adjoining verandah with tree top views.

Please note - If the close proximity of birds, wildlife and insects and the thought of living without airconditioning, hairdryers and an electric shaver fills you with trepidation – then this retreat is not for you !!

What to expect

The Moo Bay Muse is located in a relatively remote area so it is important to bring adequate supplies of food and other essentials with you. A small supermarket is located a 20 minute drive to the north. The closest large supermarket is at Mossman, an hours drive to the south.

Designed specifically to function as a retreat from the rest of the world, the Muse is meant to inspire peace and tranquility as well as the desire to be creative. Hence itâs name â it is a retreat for the artist in us all.

Electricity is harvested via solar panels from the sun and stored in batteries. There is an inverter to run electrical equipment such as the on site Stereo and TV. The fridge and lighting are 24 volt and run directly from the stored battery power.

Rain water is collected and stored in three large storage tanks. Hot water is supplied by a gas hot water system and there is a gas stove cooktop in the kitchen.

There is also a gas BBQ and a camp fire BBQ. A supply of ready cut firewood and kindling is provided.

The Muse whilst closable, is built to be open to the elements and as such there are no insect screens. Please open all the doors and windows and let the air circulate through the house. This allows the house [and you]to breathe. The cottage is fenced to keep any stray large wildlife from getting up too close and personal.

All linen and beach towels are supplied with extra supplies on site.

There is a DVD player, CD player and small flat screen TV. Digital Austar is connected however free to air TV is not available in the area. Access to Broadband is via a satellite dish. The Muse also has a CD library and a selection of Books, Games and DVDâs for guest use as well as 2 pushbikes and helmets and snorkelling gear.

On arrival at the Muse you will be met by someone who has an understanding of how the house works. They will explain how to use the Muses amenities. Please be aware that at all times there is a need to conserve power and water whenever possible. If you are efficient in its use you should have no shortage of either.

Hair dryers and irons are not permitted. Laundry can be done by arrangement and requires the use of a generator for the extra power requirement.

The Moo Bay Muse is serviced every 3-4 days. Basic servicing includes maintenance of the electricity and water supply, washing of clothes if required and gardening. Both the Power and Water storage systems will be checked and if necessary replenished.

Where the Muse is located

The Moo Bay Muse is located in the Daintree Rainforest at Cow Bay and backs onto World Heritage listed National Park. Cow Bay is a 2 hour drive North of Cairns airport and a 1 hour drive North of Port Douglas. The drive north involves crossing the Daintree River on a car ferry. Cow Bay beach is a 15 - 20 minute walk from the cottage via a dirt road and the closest shop is a 25 minute drive to the north.

The Daintree Rainforest is one of the oldest remaining rainforest remnants in the world and remains relatively unspoilt despite the increasing pressures of encroaching civilization. It is home to thousands of plant species and is alive with a diverse selection of native fauna including the Cassowary. Cassowaries, Rainforest monitors and Lizards, several types of Tree Frogs as well as many species of birds live in the forest that surrounds the Muse.

The closest township to the Moo Bay Muse is Cape Tribulation approximately a 35 minute drive to the North. At Cape Tribulation there is a small supermarket and a chemist as well as several restaurants, tour operators and resorts. An hours drive to the South is Mossman and Port Douglas.

Mossman is a small rural township with a sugar mill, supermarket, hardware, and most of the essential services required in a thriving agricultural based township. Port Douglas has a strong tourism based economy with a large range of restaurants, cafes, shops, nightlife, tour operators and resorts.

Rainfall is likely at most times of the year. The wet season usually begins around Christmas and is at itâs wettest during February and March. Swimming at the beach is inadvisable from mid November to April/May because of the possible presence of marine stingers.

Lilyfield is a Beautiful area, close to Balmain for shopping and Restaurants as well as Leichhardt and Sydney CBD.

The light rail service goes from Lilyfield to The Fish markets, Casino, Darling Harbour, China town and Central train station.

There are buses very close by as well as what is know as the "Bay Run" for those that would like a decent run/walk or stroll.

The doggy cafe is also within reach and every Saturday there is a farmers market almost across the road, They are famous for Bacon and egg rolls, fresh flowers and very tasty organic produce.

Speaking of tasty organic produce ....... you can cook up a storm in the new kitchen with SMEG appliances, saucepans, fridge/freezer and microwave.

Christmas Tree Cottage is on a working Christmas Tree farm. It is a self-contained cottage with 2 Family suites available for rent for short or medium term accommodation. Whole cottage rate is also available.

Each of the Family suites has a Master bedroom (with TV) and a Twin bedroom. The suites has its own front entrance access, reverse cycle heater/air conditioner, ensuite bathroom and toilet. The cottage has a TV room and a dining/kitchen area available for your use

There is an area of about 10 acres around the cottage where you can pursue outdoor family activities. Or you can explore the whole 31 acres of the property with its dams, birds, grasslands and of course the Christmas trees.

No Smoking policy There is a 'No Smoking' policy within the cottage and throughout the farm for the comforts of other guests and fire safety in the rural setting. Please do not apply if you cannot comply.

Please be informed Guests are invited to enjoy walks or activities at the farm. The farm has 3 dams over the 31 acres and parents with young children should be aware that the dams are huge and deep and are not fenced.

The Cottage has an enclosed backyard fence but guests need to use their own discretion to check whether it is safe for their children or pets and if it is not, to adopt mitigating controls. There are wild flora and fauna (eg snakes, ducks, kangaroos, shingle back lizards, wild orchids, etc) that are resident on the property. This is a working farm and if you have any issues regarding safety or fire hazards please discuss with us.

Dog friendly accommodation We welcome your pet dogs if you provide their sleeping and eating requirements. Dogs are not allowed on furnitures, beds or in the carpeted areas of the cottage. There is an enclosed yard with a large garage for shelter outside. It is the responsibility of dog owners to clean up after their pets.

If there are other guests in the house you are required to discuss with them if it is suitable for your pet to be in the shared areas. As a condition of stay guests are to accept responsibility for their own pets.

If your pet has an accident and the carpet requires cleaning we have to charge you the cleaning cost.

Stonewell Cottages, in the Barossa Valley, is a boutique bed and breakfast retreat offering seclusion, privacy and luxury.

Situated in a unique, secluded vineyard and waterfront setting in South Australia's most prestigious wine growing region, the Barossa Valley, Stonewell Cottages is just three minutes drive from Tanunda and only 60 minutes drive from Adelaide.

The Haven Spa Retreats, the Hideaway Cottage and Cupid's Cottage are tucked away in the vines of Stonewell Vineyards, our 50 hectare vineyard property, overlooking a picturesque, private lake. It is a tranquil world away from stress and hectic schedules, the ideal place to escape and rejuvenate. Wake up to a long, lazy breakfast amongst the vines beside the lake, to the serenade of the birds.

Stonewell Cottages was established by Yvonne and John Pfeiffer in 1987, one of the first purpose built self-contained bed and breakfast accommmodation properties in the Barossa. The property is now managed by their daughter Tina.

Haven Spa Retreats

This charming bluestone cottage, overlooking the lake, contains two self-contained retreats, each with private facilities.

The Homestead is an early Australian country styled Bed and Breakfast Accommodation suite situated in Olinda, opposite the R.J Hamer Arboretum in the Dandenong Ranges National Park. They are positioned to capture the winter sunlight, as well as a beautiful view of snow capped Mt Baw Baw and rolling pasture land. Fluffy down doonas, woollen under lays and an array of pillows adorn the posteurpedic queen beds to guarantee a relaxing and indulgent night's sleep. For your enjoyment all the cottages have a large LCD HD flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo system and a CD and DVD collection. A gas BBQ in the Japanese Garden is available for cooking on those balmy summer evenings. Guests are welcome to use the heated swim spa (day light savings months only) or to borrow the mountain bikes to ride the Noojee-Neerim South bike trail. In summer outdoor dining is a must under the sweeping verandas, whilst taking in the view. Romantic wood fires provide the warmth and country ambience in winter.

The Mudbrick Cottage

Perfect for families or groups of friends.

This charming cottage features a Victorian claw foot bath and commands a feel of yesteryear. The antique timbers and mudbrick create a warm inviting atmosphere while a soothing ambience is created by the reflected light off the uneven mud brick surfaces. A timber stair case winds its way to the open loft which has two queen size beds. Children absolutely adore the big beds in the loft. An antique leadlight door, opens to the master bedroom where there is a comfy queen size bed. The large wood fire crackles all night and warms every corner of this Cottage. You do not need to worry about being cold. The thermal mass of the mudbrick maintain a very comfortable temperature in the heat of summer. There is a private yard surrounded by a quaint picket fence, which provides the perfect environment for dogs. A wide veranda with outdoor furniture provides the perfect place for outdoor eating in the warmer months. This cottage sleeps six and is ideal for the family or for a group of friends. These Cottages are in a traditional timber barn that was purpose built for casual yet stylish accommodation. A timber staircase leads to the loft, where a comfy queen sized bed awaits. From the bed you can enjoy sweeping views of our farm animals grazing and of green rolling hills in the distance. The cottages have the feel of studio apartments furnished with contemporary items while maintaining a country theme. A large LCD flat screen high definition TV, a stereo system, DVD and CD collection is provided for your enjoyment. A stylish double corner spa and spa hamper, including Belgian Chocolates and aromatic candles, is included for your ultimate relaxation.

Ultra thick 100% Cotton bath robes are provided, for you to curl up in after the spa. A wood fire crackles all night and warms every corner of your Cottage so you do not need to worry about being cold and for the summer months an air conditioning system will ensure that a comfortable temperature is maintained. Step outside to a private veranda with outdoor furniture and take in the sound of trickling water from the water feature in the landscaped garden that is enclosed by the post and rail fence. Behind the fence lives alpacas named Billy and Alfie and Bella our hand reared jersey calf.

Southern Vales Bed and Breakfast

Southern Vales can accommodate up to 8 guests in it's four rooms. There are three (3) ensuite double-rooms, and one (1) twin-share room with its own separate bathroom. The rooms are named after famous Australian authors, including Banjo Patterson, Dorothea MacKellar, Henry Lawson and Steele Rudd. Each room is adorned with small features personifying the author, and a respective well-known novel by each bedside. This has been especially popular amongst our international guests.

A large lounge/dining room is available at all times for guests with tea & coffee facilities always on hand. A buffet-style continental breakfast and country-style cooked breakfast, is served in the dining room and is included in the tariff. There is a gazebo off the rear verandah near the dining room, and breakfast is often served outdoors in the warmer months, overlooking the vineyard & native garden.

Fully air conditioned and heated by wood-burning fires, the guest area consists of three rooms with ensuites and one twin-share room ( the twin beds are convertible to a king size bed if needed) which has its own large separate bathroom. Bathrobes are provided in all rooms and guests are given keys to allow freedom of movement as they please.

We realise and appreciate the fact that each persons idea of a holiday is different. At Southern Vales we respect each persons desires, and you will find you are well-accommodated for regardless of the nature of your travels. If you prefer to spend time alone or enjoy your privacy, then the serene atmosphere will please even the most discerning traveller.

Introducing the Underground Bed and Breakfast, located in the world-renowned town of Coober Pedy.

We, Ken and Ana Male welcome you to our bed and breakfast, a comfortable three bedroom underground dwelling.

Situated in Potch Gully this is a bed and breakfast with a difference. We KNOW that you will find that this unique town and its style of living will provide you with an experience that you will never forget.

Ever since opal was discovered and miners moved to the area, dugouts became a preferred accommodation. Dugouts, being a relatively constant temperature, they provide comfortable living in the summer heat as well as when the desert winter nights chill surface dwellers to the bone.

Early dugouts were small, often cramped and badly lit, but with modern machinery, dugout builders are almost only limited by their imagination. As you can see with modern appliances and lighting, they provide an experience not to be missed.

Underground Bed and Breakfast is a three bedroom 2 bathroom underground home, with it's own private entrance. It boasts in a lovely undercover parking and barbeque area.

We are only 1.5km from the town centre on a sealed road with airport and coach transfers available.

Continental breakfast is supplied and cooked breakfast and barbeque packs available on request.

A short flight of stairs from the carport takes you into your accommodation. The first thing you will notice is the mild 22-23 degree temperature underground. Without the lights on, the rooms are dark and very quiet, so you'll find that you'll have the most satisfying sleep ever, any time of the day!

Kitchen Dining

Our bed and breakfast has all the comforts of home. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and well appointed, with modern, spotless appliances that make for a truly comfortable self-catering stay. Dine in or visit one of Coober Pedy's many restaurants or take-aways, the options are yours. Continental breakfast is provided and cooked breakfast available on request and there is a barbeque available to use.

Lounge/Sitting Rooms

Our lounge areas are quiet and roomy with comfortable furniture. Plenty of room to spread out. There is a Home theatre, television and Internet access.

Three Bedrooms

As you can see in the shots here, our bedrooms are roomy and comfortable with great queen-size matresses and comfy doonas. No pokey little rooms here. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite while the other two share the main bathreoom. Each bed also has its own television too. Rooms 2 and 3 are connecting rooms, room 2 has a queen sized bed and room 3 has twin single beds with trundle mattresses.

Outdoor covered BBQ/Bar area

This area is just perfect to entertain, either just your family or a heap of friends. Room for the kids to play if the weathers crook or roll out your indoor bowls set. Barbeque and spa facilities are available for your use. Wood heater and airconditioner also available in outside area.

Laundry Facilities

We have laundry facilities to wash and iron clothing if you been having a real adventure.
